Masseur mit eidg. gepr. he is a swiss German medical masseuse that came to New Zealand about 15 or so years ago. I learnt his technique at one of his workshops and then a few years later he came back to NZ and I did his advanced massage workshop. He is also a Reiki person. He gave me permission to teach his technique which I call the Portmann technique.. It is not like Swedish remedial (which I have also trained in) as Swedish remedial is more like just gliding your hand gently over skin (in my opinion) however, Portmann works the muscles, gets rid of build up of lactic acid and makes you feel alive again. I have taught it to many people over the years but am most proud of the massage therapist who have done my classes and said it is amazing.. because it is massage and not just gliding hands over skin.\nMassage tables, towels, wax – tis all provided.
