Monthly Horoscope February 2021

General Monthly for Month Commencing: Monday 01 February 2021
Aries Monday 01 February 2021  Mar 21 – Apr 19
In terms of both sheer weight but also the importance of the planets involved, the focus this month is on friendship, your social life and on personal and professional networking in general. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking but as he and the faster planets are just passing through, this is a phase that you are always in at this time of year. In other words, this is usually a temporary state of affairs and on 18th February, the Sun will leave and return to a more nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, to begin the month long wind down of your old solar year. Venus, who will move through your friendship sector from 2nd February to 26th February is also just passing through, though during her time here she will bring the laws of attraction and synchronicity into effect. This will increase the potential for serendipitous moments and/or encounters. Even Mercury, who in retrograde motion until 21st March will leave early next month, though not before doing his best to help you reconnect with old friends, rebuild relationships and ensure the communication lines are open. However, the focus here is anything but temporary with Saturn and Jupiter making this a major theme throughout 2021. What the Sun, Mercury and Venus are doing is helping to get what will be the major theme of the coming year off the ground. Meanwhile, February has the potential to be a lucrative month, with the early and final days of the month hosting especially positive conditions across the income, work and career fronts. Gone is the professional pressure of the past but in its wake is a chance to benefit from what this has taught you and the resources you have gained. You are in a much better position to achieve your personal and professional goals and ambitions than you realise.

Taurus Monday 01 February 2021  Apr 20 – May 20
The stars align in a way that suggests that you really can have it all this month and this, in turn, sets the scene for the coming year. After their return in December, to begin the year with Jupiter and Saturn in your career sector meant this was always going to be a powerful professional year or for setting and achieving personal and professional goals and ambitions. However, it wasn’t until the Sun and Mercury returned last month that this became real. Saturn is here until 2023 and Jupiter will spend the first and the last five months of 2021 here so they are playing a long game. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your career sector and along with Mercury and Venus, his focus is on the short game and in particular, on getting this new professional year up to speed. It is that overlapping of the short and long game that makes this such a defining month. With the Sun here until 18th February, Venus from 2nd February to 26th February and Mercury here until early next month, when the Moon moves through from 10th February to 12th February every cosmic body that will visit your career sector in 2021 will all be here at the same time. This is also when Venus and Jupiter will align, considered the luckiest point in any year, with a New Moon on 12th February helping to galvanise that. However, there is little chance of life becoming all work and no play. Not with the Moon starting and ending the month in a playful part of your chart. The only way that is possible is during a 28 day month and as the Moon will return as a Full Moon on 27th February, this sends a clear message that life can’t be all work and no play. However, the Moon on its own can’t do that but with help from its friends it can. The Moon will leave just a few hours before Venus leaves an adventurous part of your chart on 2nd February, handing the reins over to Pluto who will keep the spirit of adventure alive. In addition, the Moon will speak to Mars, who in his first, last and only full month in Taurus is asking that you embrace life with passion.

Gemini Monday 01 February 2021  May 21 – Jun 21
There is change in the air but not to the extent that you might think or that you are subconsciously preparing for. Because the Sun moves through the same areas of our chart at the same time every year, never deviating by more than 24 hours, subconsciously we are attuned to the cosmic seasons, which at this time of year predict that life is about to become a lot busier. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in an adventurous part of your chart before returning to your career sector, something that happens at the same time every year. Even Venus, who won’t return to an adventurous part of your chart until 2nd February, will join the Sun in your career sector on 26th February. This is the natural order of things but while this is good news professionally and over the coming months, opportunities are set to expand right through to the middle months of the year, it does or should create a sense of urgency on the adventurous front. That is not the case this year for as the Sun, Venus and Mercury, who will spend the whole month in an adventurous part of your chart cross Jupiter and Saturn, who are here to stay, their influence is finally appreciated. While Saturn and Jupiter returned in December, it is only now that the solar spotlight is on life’s more adventurous aspects that their game changing impact can be felt. Where the Sun, Mercury and Venus are just passing through an adventurous part of your chart on their way to your career sector, Jupiter and Saturn are here to stay. Meanwhile, there is likely to be a sense that you are waiting for something and that a month into 2021 you are still not feeling that you are ready to fully embrace the coming year. That is because Mars is still in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, where he is winding down your current Mars cycle ahead of his return to Gemini early next month. If it feels like you are holding back it is because you are, with Mars’ return on 5th March the point when you will be ready to throw yourself, head first into 2021.

Cancer Monday 01 February 2021  Jun 22 – Jul 22
February is always a month when the focus is on your financial situation and money matters and it can be a time of reckoning or when your chickens come home to roost. The reality is that money matters are no more or less important at this time of year than any other and more that you are paying more attention. That is because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your financial sector, putting the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters. With your eyes open and head out of the sand, this is when you have a chance to get real, take care of any financial housekeeping and get money matters on track. With Venus, the planet of money here from 2nd February to 26th February and Mercury here all month, you have the resources needed to get on top of money matters. However, with Saturn and Jupiter here and in the early months of their reign, this is giving you the resources to start taking your financial power back. In retrograde motion until 21st February, there is a chance to use Mercury’s smart head for money to spend time back at the drawing board. Meanwhile, an especially auspicious time for money matters will be the days either side of 12th February. This is not only the day of a New Moon in your financial sector but when Venus and Jupiter, the planets of money and luck will align here. A focus on money matters will continue throughout the coming year but on 18th February the Sun will shift the solar spotlight onto life’s more adventurous aspects, with Venus following him into your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 26th February. At the same time Mars is encouraging you to become more engaged with others, either socially or in team, group or collaborative endeavours. Where 2020 might have been a year for soldiering on under your own steam, 2021 is a year for reaching out. You might not need others but they need you.

Leo Monday 01 February 2021  Jul 23 – Aug 22
There is always a lot of focus on your relationships at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of February in your relationship sector. Mercury, the planet of communication is not only spending the whole month here but in retrograde motion until 21st February, he is working to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. It is while the solar spotlight is on your relationships that Venus, the planet of love will return on 2nd February, joining what by then will be the most formidable line up of planets on the relationship front seen in decades. For there, waiting to greet each planet as they return are Saturn and Jupiter, who returned in December to make 2021 all about your relationships. The Sun, Mercury and Venus are just passing through but they are playing an important part in drawing your attention to your relationships and giving you the resources needed for the journey ahead. As is always the case, the Sun will leave on 18th February in order to turn the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters. As Venus leaves your relationship sector on 26th February she will take off her ‘planet of love’ hat and follow the Sun into your financial sector, where she will don her ‘planet of money’ hat. Meanwhile, there is a lot to be excited about across the income, work and career fronts this month and especially in the early and final days of the month. The Moon will begin and end the month in your income sector, something that can only happen in a 28 day month and the timing couldn’t be better. Not only does the month begin with Venus in her final hours in your work sector but with Mars spending the whole month in your career sector, your professional year is taking off. The Moon will come full circle as a Full Moon on 27th February, energising things across the income, work and career fronts.

Virgo Monday 01 February 2021  Aug 23 – Sep 22
This is always going to be a busy time of year for you, either on the job front or with the 101 things in life that keep you busy and occupy your time. That is because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your busy work sector, before returning to your relationship sector and putting the solar spotlight on your relationships from 18th February. The Sun is always just passing through and throughout the year it is a case of where the solar spotlight is at the time. That is the same for Venus, who will start the month putting your heart’s focus on matters of the heart, before shifting it to work and job matters from 2nd February to 26th February before joining the Sun in your relationship sector. Even Mercury, who will spend the whole month in your work sector, something that is only possible because of a retrograde turn late last month, is just passing through. Rarely does a focus on work and job matters extend beyond March, which is when Mercury, the last of the faster planets will leave. That is not the case this year, with Saturn and Jupiter in their early months in your work sector and the Sun, Mercury and Venus simply drawing your attention to this. By the time Mars returns to your career sector early next month, instead of slowing down this professional year will just be starting to heat up. However, there is little chance of life becoming all work and no play. Not with Mars spending his first, last and only full month in an adventurous part of your chart and Venus leaving a playful part on 2nd February but not before handing the reins to Pluto. This will be the first time since 2017 that Pluto, the planet of change and revolution will be on his own in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart and over the course of the month will grow closer to a friendly aspect to Mars. This will see the planets of war and revolution unite to keep a passion for adventure and for all things fun, playful, romantic and creative alive.

Libra Monday 01 February 2021  Sep 23 – Oct 23
We are finally starting to get a sense of what 2021 looks like, as the heavy influences of not just 2020 but the last three years move aside giving the new influences have room to spread out. The influences that are exiting were focused on home, family, duty and responsibility but until she leaves your home and family sector on 2nd February, Venus is making sure everything good from that time, including the benefits remain. The new energy coming in that will be the backbone that everything else will build on from over the coming year is in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. Life will continue but by the time Venus returns on 2nd February, every planet that will spend any time here this year will be here at the same time. The Sun, who will leave on 18th February, Venus on 26th February and Mercury early next month are just passing through but underneath this are Saturn and Jupiter, who will make this fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart their home in 2021. Life itself will go on and on 18th February the Sun will return to your work sector, turning the solar spotlight onto work and job matters as it does at this time every year. It is Venus’ return on 26th February that will have positive implications on the income and job fronts. As the planet of money, Venus will return to your work sector on a mission to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. This creates income potential without running into competition from Mars, who in his first, last and only full month in your financial sector, is putting the focus on the other side of the financial fence. After some volatility last month that created some turbulence during his early weeks, Mars is experiencing much calmer conditions this month, giving you the confidence to use his financial passions and fighting spirit to take your financial power back.

Scorpio Monday 01 February 2021  Oct 24 – Nov 21
After Mars left your busy work sector last month, ending his longest visit in 32 years and before the Sun and Venus return next month, this is a chance to enjoy this month’s less busy pace. There is no danger of losing the momentum gained but there is no longer the constant need to keep stoking the fires and life is unlikely to be heaping new demands on you, whether at work or in the 101 things in life that keep you busy. This gives you a chance to focus more on the other aspects of life that the stars are putting their attention onto this month, especially on the home, relationship and even on the playful front. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your home and family sector but with Jupiter and Saturn in their early months here, this is not the passing focus this normally is. Instead, this is putting the solar spotlight on the forces that will make 2021 a major and important year for home and family matters. By the time you move into February the only planet yet to return your home and family sector is Venus, who will finally return on 2nd February. Until leaving on 26th February, Venus will make home where your heart is while in retrograde motion until 21st February, Mercury offers a chance to review your options. As is the case every year, the Sun will take the solar spotlight off home and family matters and shift it onto matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative on 18th February. Home and family matters will not only remain important even after the Sun and then Venus leaves on 26th February but throughout the coming year. Meanwhile, with Mars spending his first, last and only full month in your relationship sector, this is an important month for your relationships. While there was some tension and volatility in the early weeks after Mars’ return last month this has settled back while the communication support has been and will remain strong.

Sagittarius Monday 01 February 2021  Nov 22 – Dec 21
When the Sun and the faster moving planets move through your communication sector, always at this time of year, this has multiple benefits over and above making this an important time for all aspects of communication. This is the one area of your chart that touches every aspect of your life and can be seen as the ‘Swiss army knife’ area, with a tool for every occasion. When there is planetary activity here, which until Jupiter and Saturn returned in December there wasn’t, you are not only smarter but more articulate, able to think on your feet, better express yourself and find the right words at the right time. That advantage increased when the Sun returned last month, bringing more mental clarity and especially when Mercury, the planet of communication returned. Mercury turned retrograde here late last month and until turning direct on 21st February offers a chance to give the past and unsaid words a voice. Meanwhile, even before Venus’ returns on 2nd February, this was something that your relationships were benefiting from. However, even more so because as the planet of love she will work until leaving on 26th February to give your heart and your relationships a voice. It is on 18th February that the Sun will leave and return to your home and family sector, something that will happen at this time every year. This is when the solar spotlight will always shift onto home and family matters, with Venus returning on 26th February to make home where your heart is. Meanwhile, with Mars spending his first, last and only full month in your work sector this is likely to be a busy month but without the volatility during his early weeks after returning last month. Mars will also be the anchor for positive conditions across the income, work and career fronts, especially at each end of the month.

Capricorn Monday 01 February 2021  Dec 22 – Jan 19
While this has the potential to be a lucrative month it is not just about the money, with a feeling of confidence across all the currencies in your life. This can be best described as a sense of enthusiasm but not in a selfish or egotistical way, where you feel more entitled than others or that things should come to you without trying. It is more that you are starting to believe in yourself, are gaining confidence in what you are worth and in what you deserve. As we are more likely to attract what we believe we deserve then this has the potential to be a fruitful month, whether financially or however you measure abundance. This is being driven by the fact that you not only have Saturn and Jupiter in their early months in your income sector but every planet that will visit this year are all here at the same time or they will be from Venus’ return on 2nd February to the Sun’s departure on 18th February. An especially auspicious point will be the days either side of 12th February. This is not only the day of the first New Moon in your income sector with both Jupiter and Saturn here at the same time in six decades but is the same day that Venus and Jupiter, the planets of money and luck will align here. This is seen as the luckiest day of any year. What helps to support this and especially financially, is not only the support from the North Node in your work sector but Mars’ approach, with the warrior planet of the cosmos returning to fire things up on the job front early next month. Until then, knowing how busy life is set to become over the coming months, Mars is working to make the most of his first, last and only full month in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. Because the month will not only start and end with the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart but will return as a Full Moon on 27th February, there is a real push to take a proactive approach to future proofing your life against becoming all work and no play.

Aquarius Monday 01 February 2021  Jan 20 – Feb 18
Whether you are a January or a February born Aquarian, this is your birthday month and until the Sun leaves on 18th February this is a chance to lay down the foundations for this new solar year. It should be clear by now that this is no ordinary solar year and that even if you don’t yet know the form or the ‘when, where and how’ that this is going to be a huge year, the year that everything until now has led up to and everything from now will lead on from. For when the Sun leaves Aquarius on 18th February, Venus on 26th February and Mercury early next month, the job of getting your new solar year up to speed will end but Jupiter and Saturn will stay on and will continue to move mountains on your behalf. It has been six decades since you last had Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius at the same time, bringing you to the start of two major life cycles. Mercury, who will normally spend just 14 to 15 days in Aquarius each year turned retrograde late last month and until turning direct on 21st February, this gives you a chance to spend time back at the drawing board, taking away the urgency. Normally your birthday month will end with your game plan and resolutions set for the coming year but even with Venus giving your heart a voice, with so much set to unfold this is something that will continue to evolve over the course of the year. Things will take a lucrative turn in the latter part of the month, with the Sun returning to your income sector and on 18th February and Venus on 26th February. This is a stepping stone or the beginning of something that will evolve over the coming months, with lucrative implications that will only increase during the middle months of the year. Meanwhile, in his first, last and only full month in your home and family sector, Mars is putting a lot of focus on home, family and/or property matters. Especially when it comes to taking action, making things happen and getting things done.

Pisces Monday 01 February 2021  Feb 19 – Mar 20
February is always a month of two halves for you, a month when the lines between the past, present and future are often blurred as you transition out of one solar year and into the next. The Sun will always begin February in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, with the month long wind down of your old solar year underway. This is the case at this time every year but even when the Sun leaves and returns to Pisces on 18th February to begin your birthday month and new solar year, the lines between the past, present and future will remain blurred. Not because Venus will remain in a nostalgic part of your chart until 26th February and Mercury until early next month but because this will continue all year. It was in December that Jupiter and Saturn returned to begin winding down your current Jupiter and Saturn cycles, making the job of closing old doors something that will continue. The difference this month is that there is a lot more focus on this during the wind down of your old solar year and once your birthday month and new solar year begin this will move to something that is happening in the background. In the meantime, this is an important month for friendship and relationship building and also on the communication front. This is Mars’ first, last and only full month in your communication sector, where he has declared war on communication barriers. This is something that your relationships will benefit from, especially as the month begins and ends with the Moon in your relationship sector, something that can only happen in a 28 day month. This will be especially important when the Moon returns to your relationship sector on 27th February as a Full Moon, something that can stress test a balance between your personal and relationship needs. Yet in both this visit and the visit that began late last month and ends on 2nd February, there is not only support from Mars on the communication front but from planets in your friendship sector.
