Reiki Three is a quantum leap in the Reiki journey as it is the precursor to ‘Master’. In your own process it aids in your soul’s journey to align with it’s own unique truth; your psychic capacity is increased markedly and your ‘knowing’ becomes clearer. It is all about alignment with the breath of the universe. Reiki Three is about healing at a soul level (crudely put as in reality the soul is perfect!).

Academically, Reiki Three studies the metaphysics of the human body and energy systems with more depth. The student at this level is expected to see, feel, hear and sense energy across most vibrational layers. The application of Reiki becomes more widespread bringing in the application of breath, sight and colour to direct energy. Structure becomes less important as the student becomes more aware and takes responsibility and acknowledgement of their own role in the healing processes for self and others.

The symbol taught at this level is sometimes referred to as the ‘Master Symbol’; however, there is still one final symbol to be mastered at Reiki Master/Teacher level to complete all Reiki symbols.

The philosophy of Reiki, the Reiki Paths (just for today…), is expected to be more than just words. The Reiki Three student embraces the simple wisdom of the healing path in everyday life.
